1. What is petsitting?
Pet sitting is THE alternative to the stressful, sometimes unhealthy practice of boarding

our very special animal friends. No worry about what time you're coming home, about

leaving your beloved pet(s) locked in a cage 23 or more hours a day. Discover in-home

pet care and come home to a less-stressed, happier loved one. 

2. What does a daily visit entail?

Some common tasks covered in a routine daily visit are: In Home short and long term pet care, dog walking, feeding/playing, cleaning up "accidents" and turning lights on and off to give your home the "lived in look" while you're away.


3. Do you do overnight stays?
Yes. Overnights last up to 12 hours. Overnights include everything done on a typical day plus, I will stay overnight at your home with your pet(s).  It includes both evening and morning feedings (as instructed by owner) and as much care and companionship as I can squeeze into 12 hours!!!


4. How far are you willing to travel for a house/petsitting job?
House/petsitting jobs are done in Holyoke, Chicopee, South Hadley, parts of Westfield, Southampton, Northampton, Easthampton, Longmeadow and West Springfield.


5. What if I do not have a pet?
That is fine. I also housesit for customers without pets. A daily visit entails collecting newpapers, mail and other deliveries, trash/recycling taken to and from the curb, alternate inside/outside lighting, adjust blinds and/or curtains; water plants (inside & out); and many other services upon request.


6. Do you work holidays?
Yes. It costs extra to work major holidays. Prices are available during consultation.


7. Do you house/petsit alone or with others?
Due to my insurance policy, and other factors out of my control, I usually prefer not to share pet sits with friends, family, or neighbors. But, I am aware that some clients need the extra pet and home care. Please feel free to communicate your needs in this area.


8. What if you have an emergency or personal issue and cannot petsit for a customer?
During these times, I would like to assure you that I do have a back up plan. 


9. Are you able to petsit overly agressive animals?
I do not have a special handler’s license to work with aggressive, overly protective animals. Therefore, I cannot offer my service for them. If your pet has bitten anyone in the past, or shows aggressive behavior, please kindly make other arrangements. I have found that the best pet care for overly protective animals is to board them at a reputable commercial boarding facility.  


10. What if I have an emergency and need a petsitter last minute?
I will accommodate you to the best of my ability.  However, even in a last minute emergency, I will need to schedule an in-home consultation to meet you, your pets, go over your pet and home care routines, and collect my service forms and retain one working key.
